Allergic to cats

I have been allergic to every single cat since 3rd grade. Will I be allergic to Siamese cats?
(There is a lot of talk about Siamese cats and allergies - that people with allergies suffer less around Siamese cats than other cats. How true is this?)

This seems like a really popular question, but unfortunately there's no easy answer.

I am not a health professional but this is what some people have experienced. Sometimes people with cat allergies will react in the same way to Siamese cats. Some other people, won't develop an allergic reaction.
